The Manager, Indirect Business is responsible for leading, planning, guiding the DSMs in the assigned region for achieving the sales and business objectives through effective organization and execution of sales and business strategies. The IBM shall manage sales and business activities across MedSurg and Vascular divisions in the assigned region, aligning regional objectives with Division's mission, vision & purpose, division specialty priorities and overall company priorities.
- Ensures the assigned region efficiently and effectively meets the needs of the business and the customer, by developing a plan to address and communicate customer needs and possible solutions to IMM leadership.
- Responsible for ensuring the business within the region is efficient, effective, and compliant in meeting the needs of our customers.
- Responsible for Divisions KPI’s, customer satisfaction, and patient outcomes as well as P&L, with emphasis on sales, expenses, margin and direct contribution income of the assigned geographic or market vertical segment.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy with targeted future growth opportunities through established best practices/behaviors of existing business within assigned geographic or market vertical segment.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of overall market through monitoring metrics and listening to feedback from customers and Distributor employees. Take action and resolve issues and gaps quickly and effectively.
• Continuously monitor and track progress of goals and objectives of the team. Take measures to achieve the objectives through proper feedback, guidance and effective management of available budget and resources.
• Allocate resources according to customer needs and business potential.
• Effectively manage the business call points across divisions to ensure all customer call points are serviced at a high level.
• Collaborate with IMM Global Ops,MDM and CSD to ensure appropriate conversion and customer services are utilized effectively and efficiently to serve the customers within assigned market.
• Consistently collaborate with Product Portfolio and clinical Manager within the region to establish, measure, meet and exceed business plan goals for each specialty.
• Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policy.
• Effective management of distributors in the assigned region through regular review of performance, identifying training needs.
• Collaborate for organizing VISTA programs by analyzing the market needs and coordinate with stake holders through effective utilization of resources.
• Maintain our culture, values, and commitment to Ethics and Compliance by recognizing, demonstrating, and enforcing appropriate and compliant behavior.
• Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product specific requirements are met.
Essential:
• College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English. Multilingual with proficiency in Indian languages is added advantage to understand customer needs.
• Extensive experience in sales and marketing.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Prior experience managing people will be an added advantage
• Previous sales management experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate strong business and problem-solving skills.
