Overview

The Supply Chain Distribution Leader is responsible for leading and guiding the operators in storing finished products and dispatching customer orders for designated Asia Pacific countries from the distribution centre (SADC).

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide operators in their daily tasks
• Execute daily operations in accordance to the SOPs
• Maintain safety procedures and monitor team performance on the task
• To perform all tasks relating to inbound, storage and outbound of Cook products.
• Picking orders
• Scanning orders and checking quantities
• Tallying / Packing orders
• Putting orders through courier computers
• Inwards goods receiving
• Enter inventory into Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Label and pack the items picked to meet customer requirements
• Ensure on-time delivery to customers

• Upkeep and maintain materials handling equipments (MHE)
• To comply safety regulations and security measures for warehouse operations
• Checking overseas orders received

• Responsible for storage after inspection
• Regular execution of cycle count and stock take activities
• Resolve Inventory Discrepancies immediately
• Distribution Centre Consumable Management
• To carry out housekeeping duties
• Prepare daily reports and raise issue that happened
• Oversee the security and safety regulation and implementation for the Distribution Centre
• Support the implementation of QMS (Quality Management System), ensure compliance and maintain its effectiveness.
• Other duties may be directed from time to time

 

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma holders
• Preferably with Professional Certification in Logistics / Supply Chain / Warehousing
• 2-3 years experience in warehousing environment

• Able to operate reach truck / order picker
• Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management System

• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word / Excel)
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Sense of urgency and meticulous, positive mindset and good teamplayer
• Physically fit to operate the given task

• Able to lead staff and work independantly

• Able to commit after working hours to support business when required
