Responsibilities

As a Procurement Intern at our medical company, you'll gain valuable experience in supplier onboarding and the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process. You will assist with integrating new suppliers, evaluating their qualifications, and managing the RFQ procedures to ensure we secure optimal terms and quality. This role offers a unique chance to develop expertise in these critical procurement functions within a dynamic and impactful sector, supported by a structured and professional environment.

Qualifications

Internship program eligibility

  • Business undergraduate students completing at least third year studies.
  • Available for 12 weeks between 18 November 2024 to 14 February 2025, 38 hours per week.
  • Onsite attendance at Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane.
  • Clear written and verbal English comprehension and communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Be able to take directions and follow instructions.
  • Take pride in your work with a focus on quality.
  • Have a responsible and professional attitude.
