General Manager, Japan
This position is responsible for planning, directing, managing and leading Cook Japan's day-to-day operations, ensure local rules & regulations are compliant with local requirements, and develop initiatives to fulfill the company's objectives and goals while maximizing the efficiency and productivity of the operations. S/he is required to ensure Cook Japan's operations are always in alignment with the vision, mission and values of Cook Medical. The GM is mutually responsible, along with the commercial teams, to ensure achievement of Cook Japan's financial and all other business performance metrics for both short and long term goals.
Work with HR business partners to plan for the human resource needs, such as attract, recruit and retain talent, professional development & performance management, motivate, and develop employees to reach their full potential.
Enforcing ethical behaviours and take action where necessary.
Have a good understanding and comply with Cook Group Written Standards (CWS) and External Applicable Standards (EAS).
Identifying and implementing strategies for continuous improvement towards best practice. Review, measures and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operation processes and resource utilizations. Diagnose problems and suggest solutions proactively.
Manage the General Administration personnel to maintain an excellent office environment in alignment with the Cook culture in the most cost efficient manner.
