Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance General Ledger, the Senior Accountant will have overall accounting responsibility for multiple Cook entities.

Overall accounting responsibility for multiple Cook entities
Tasks may include working with local auditors, external advisors, posting journal entries, analysing & reconciling accounts, doing tax returns and other Statutory returns as required.
Responsible for the accuracy and consistency of accounting of assigned entities
Ensure month end, local financial statements and statutory returns are completed on time.
Lead & organise GL audit preparations for all interim and year-end audits for specified countries.
Work with Manager APAC General Ledger & Global GL team to initiate and drive efficiencies in GL controls, processes & procedures.
Review entries to ensure transactions have been recorded consistently and accurately; solve potential issues at root cause.
Exercise strong problem-solving skills during day-to-day activities.
Work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.
Work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.
Ensure Policies, Procedures & Work Instructions are available & up to date.
Assist with other related Finance tasks as requested.
Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct is considered with in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and Accounting qualification required
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience.
Fluent in Korean and English
Prior Shared Services experience preferred
Track record of Continuous Improvement.
Experience working in a multi-jurisdictional corporation environment beneficial.
Previously trained within a Top 10 or Big 4 firm up to manager level, preferred.
ERP system implementation experiences a strong preferred.
Ability to work independently and self-manage various projects simultaneously.
