Overview

Indirect Commercial Business Manager-IMM(Korea), is responsible for facilitating communications between IMM and their supporting functions. The primary function of this role is to build a professional and productive B2B working relationship with assigned Distributors, GPOs, Hospitals in-house purchasing Dept., 3PL & 4PL service providers, gain a strong commercial understanding of our distributors/distribution market(s), proactively co-ordinate business planning, performance management and actions to create the best possible business environment. This role partners closely with assigned Division and Functional Market Support Resources. They will also manage indirect market issues to resolution, arising from the IMM business team, CSD, and functions. They will ensure indirect markets are represented in all relevant policy deployment across the functions. They will be responsible for the project management of regional operational projects.

 

 

Functional Department: IMM(Indirect Market Management)

Reports To: Senior Manager, Commercial Business, IMM, MedSurg, APAC

Responsibilities

• Establish productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned markets/accounts.
• Ensure personal compliance with Cook values, quality system procedures, policies and relevant medical device standards and regulations
• Management of IMM operational issues raised by IBM’s, CSD & other functions
• Managing a coordinated response and resolution of issues through division and functional alignment
• Point of contact for functions to access support from IMM
• Drives adoption of company programs among assigned distributors and other business partners (GPOs, 3PL & 4PL service providers)
• Fosters excellent communication internally and externally, managing potential escalations and keeps all stakeholders informed.
• Operational stakeholder in distribution set-up & termination process
• Maintenance of distribution contact databases
• Corporate level training management and alignment for IMM
• Regional special project participation and IMM representative
• Stakeholder of CSD intake process for IMM focused projects
• Works with team of operations support managers to define global and standardized solutions
• Key stakeholder in development and implementation of IMM PMO (project management office) structure and approach
• Responsible for managing price negotiation, tenders, new product listing and contract with hospital and GPOs and maintain price, tender record.
• Develop and share market expertise through networking.
• Monitor, track and communicate progress in a structured and timely manner to business owners and key stakeholders.
• Advocate of continuous improvement approach to process management
• Proposes robust business solutions to meet market needs.
• Willingness & availability to travel on company business
• Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct and Quality system is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf

Qualifications

Minimum Work Experience / Educational Requirements:

• Over 7 years’ experience in account management, business and project management in Medical Device market
• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience desired
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams toward defined objectives
• Demonstrate experience in account and project management practices
• Experience & knowledge of regional distribution markets
• Strong organizational abilities
• Proven communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and follow up promptly on relevant issues
• Excellent English language skills and preference for additional local language skills
