Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Area Business (ABM), the Associate Territory Manager, Vascular will assist and support Territory Manager(s) (TM) in the management of top line sales of assigned program products in assigned customers, in alignment with Division mission, vision and purpose and overall company priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently, effectively, and compliantly identify and meet the needs of assigned customers; communicate customer needs and possible solutions to ABM.
  • Assist TM(s) in developing and executing a business plan for the assigned territory to expand existing business and develop new business; update ABM on status as requested.
  • Develop an understanding of and collaborate as requested with Division and Company resources such as Business Management, Marketing, Programs, Division, Medical Education, Customer Support and Delivery etc.,
  • Develop understanding of Division sales management processes, participating in and successfully completing training and development opportunities as assigned.
  • Maintain an active, consistent presence within assigned accounts in clinical and non-clinical call points.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of assigned Cook products and applicable competitor products.
  • Cover TM responsibilities in open territories as requested.
  • Represent Cook at physician/industry meetings as requested.
  • Establish, develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
  • Educate and update customers through conversations, in-services, business meetings and company approved materials
  • Provide clinical support during procedures; collaborate with TM(s) and Clinical Specialist(s) to ensure appropriate level of clinical support in assigned customers.
  • Assist TM(s) to maintain consignments in line with Division expectations.
  • Meet deadlines and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, consignment audits, reporting, policy acknowledgements, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product-specific requirements are met.
  • Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background.
  • Prior experience in sales or customer facing role(s), or in a relevant role in healthcare is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving market objectives. 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision. 
  • Demonstrate high level of awareness and active development in one’s own growth over time.
  • Ability to work/travel overnight and on weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a theatre/clinical environment
  • Ability to work autonomously with high levels of motivation
