Location – Brisbane, Eight Mile Plains – Onsite

Fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing warehouse experience or looking for an entry level role within warehousing. Reporting to the Distribution Manager, this role is responsible for receipting and storage of finished product, and the picking and dispatch of domestic and international customer orders. Working as part of the Supply Chain team, this role is based in our warehouse at Eight Mile Plains. Accuracy, attention to detail and reliability is key to being successful in this role.

Rostered hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday and 8:30am to 5:00pm on Tuesday.  

• Picking orders, scanning orders, checking quantities and packing orders
• Putting orders through courier computers
• Perform duties in compliance with local quality procedures and work instructions
• Inwards good receiving, finished goods receipting
• Checking overseas orders received
• Driving van between 3 facilities and pedestrian forklift operation
• Media placing, packing/preparation
• Putting stock away, stocktaking, cleaning and carton preparation

• Previous experience order picking in a warehouse environment highly desirable
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook) essential
• Experience with forklifts desirable (pedestrian forklift preferred)
• Good concentration, attention to detail and accuracy required
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items up to 10kg as required from time to time essential
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, in a manner appropriate for intended audiences
• Reliable and takes responsibility for effective and timely completion of own work
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexible to adapt to changing situations or in response to work requirements
