Working as part of the vascular team, the purpose of this role is to assist in the development, and communication, of the global strategy for the assigned product lines within Aortic (Custom Made Devices) and lead execution in alignment with specialty, division and company business goals, vision and strategy.

As the successful applicant you will have strong product and procedural knowledge within Vascular, Aortic and be responsible for managing total product life cycle (TPLC) of assigned Aortic product lines globally.

This a great opportunity to join our Vascular Aortic team in this Brisbane based role.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders within the Division, Marketing, company Functions, and Operational Units to implement the strategy for assigned product line(s) and ensure consistency in priorities, policies, compliance, processes, structure, and projects
  • Track financial performance of product to achieve revenue objectives
  • Responsible for the availability and efficiency of assigned product line(s) within the TPLC; collaborate with functional teams and contribute to developing product retirement strategies when necessary
  • Demonstrate and maintain an extensive understanding of relevant market trends, including case volume, the regulatory environment, healthcare economics and the TPLC
  • Develop and drive the product pipeline for assigned product line(s)
  • Interface with Physicians and Development personnel to identify needs and to obtain feedback on concepts and performance of new or existing devices
  • Responsible to develop and execute an annual strategy and plan for assigned product line(s) containing drivers, limiters, and enablers
  • Lead and complete large and complex projects in a timely manner for planned and unplanned product specific events including, but not limited to, product launches, backorders and recalls, through collaboration with strategic marketing, sales, commercial business, regulatory, R&D, and manufacturing
  • Requirement to attend meetings and calls outside normal office hours

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and / or experience of such kind as to provide a comparable background
  • Proven experience in product management, engineering, sales and or marketing in the medical device industry preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product development for relevant Aortic (Custom Made Device) products and market
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects or initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates positive and constructive behaviours that drive team cooperation in achieving objectives 
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership, and presentations skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to think strategically
  • Availability and willingness to travel on company business
