We are seeking motivated individuals with passion and enthusiasm to join our Summer Internship Program.  We have three opportunities in our Engineering teams within Post Market Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering – Sustaining and Manufacturing Engineering – Continuous Improvement.

How we work

We understand that unique perspectives, ideas and contributions strengthen our workforce and encourage innovation through solving problems together. Under the guidance of a mentor, you will be working with highly experienced engineers within collaborative, high-performing teams on real-world projects that will meaningfully contribute and add value to the patients that we serve around the world. 

During your paid internship, you will gain exposure and experience across continuous improvement, product development and process engineering teams, utilizing your existing technical abilities whilst learning new skills within a supported and structured professional environment.

Intern requirements

• Must be an Engineering undergraduate student completing at least third year studies with an interest in medical devices.
• Available for 13 weeks between 23 November 2026 to 19 February 2027 (subject to change if university break commences earlier than 23 November).
• Able to commit to 38 hours per week.
• Able to attend work at our Eight-Mile Plains facility.
• Must have clear written and verbal English comprehension and communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to take direction and follow instructions.
• Take pride in your work with a focus on quality.
• Have a responsible and professional attitude.

 We are seeking conscientious students who align with our values and can commit to our 13-week internship program, noting some short Christmas holiday will be permitted.
