In an effort to support our continuing growth, we seek the services of an experienced Site Facilities Manager to join our Facilities team in our Australian Head Office at Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane.

    Responsibilities

    About this role

     

    Reporting to the General Manager, the Site Facilities Manager is responsible for managing building facilities including office, amenities, security, facilities trades and contractors.

    • Pro-actively manage Cook Australia building facilities, including grounds, building amenities, utilities, company vehicles, and associated contracts and contractors.
    • Manage scheduled preventative maintenance on facilities (building and electrical)
    • Manage building modifications and interior refurbishments in accordance with Cook Specifications and with excellent attention to communication, consultation to achieve the best result for the Business and as defined in the Specification document.
    • Organise fit-out, office allocations, moves and associated works and purchases including office furniture and equipment.
    • Ensure all high risk works and contractors are identified and relevant permits, SWMS and procedures are current and adhered to during works.
    • Ensure Cook specifications and procedures relevant to Site Facilities Management are up to date, effective and compliant to all relevant legislative requirements.
    • Manage direct reports, ensuring the departments have sufficient resources with the necessary skills
    • Set Targets, Objectives and Plans for the Site Facilities area which align to Site Management and Overall business Goals, Objectives and Plans, and manage actions to achieve these.

    Qualifications

    Key Requirements

    • Demonstrated experience in managing facilities and trades essential
    • Understanding of relevant legislation to the area of facilities including WHS, Building Code, Local Laws, Electrical Safety essential.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading a diverse team including trades to effectively guide, inspire and motivate team members to meet department and organisation objectives essential
    • Demonstrated ability to set objectives, targets and develop plans, and to drive action to execute these in a timely manner essential.
    • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and functions across the business
