  • Overview

    Thanks to the recent development, we’re looking for a disciplined, intuitive, confident project manager to own the many meeting and events held within the Asia Pacific region. Covering countries across Asia Pacific, there are lots of opportunity for travel and working with diverse people and cultures. Working closely with the friendly team in Hong Kong office, we’re seeking for an individual to assist in driving the vision and strategy of the Vascular Division. You’ll be the go-to point for all things meeting and events, collaborating with an international creative team bringing concepts to reality, ensuring projects hit deadlines, organizing initiatives at events alongside your colleagues, managing the forecasted expenditure, as well as working closely with leadership and conference committees negotiating sponsorship prospectus.


    This role offers many opportunities such as:

    • Developing, implementing, and then attending audience-centric event experiences while driving customer engagement.
    • The ability to collaborate with an experienced team on the selection, organization, planning, and execution of meetings and events
    • Gathering and analysing audience insights, which will lead to adapting tactics for the optimization of the customer/stakeholder experience.
    • Engaging with audiences to develop an understanding on how to offer meaningful purpose and value for the customers and stakeholders in the APAC region.
    • Leadership that is available and open to frequent communication regarding activities, plans, and expectations.
    • Explore experiential methods, and then develop and implement solutions that enhance experience of customers.
    • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Company.
    • Learn and implement Cook’s Code of Conduct and Quality system in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf


    Requirements for the role:

    • Degree or above in Marketing, Business or other related discipline.
    • With 3 years or above experience in project or events management in multinational company.
    • The ability to demonstrate project management techniques and excellent problem-solving skill. Able to work independently with limited supervision.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Able to work and establish a positive relationship with people from different regions, level and departments, both internally and externally.
    • Good team player with positive working attitude. Flexible with the capacity to fit into the Cook and Vascular division culture.
    • Strong in time management and able to complete assigned tasks in a tight schedule.
    • Excellent English and Chinese (Mandarin) skill, both written and spoken.
    • Frequent and extensive travel within the assigned region.
