This position is responsible to provide assistance and support to the Regional Human Resources Manager - APAC to ensure the smooth operation of human resources functions in the assigned region.
Maintain and administer the compensation and benefits programs and payroll for Cook in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and provide support in other countries when required.
Ensure employees are covered by the appropriate medical scheme. Arrange enrolment, alteration and termination for the medical scheme and work injury administration in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Liaise with the insurance company as required.
Access and update HRMS for the assigned region and help other HR staff to tackle the problems they encountered.
Assist in the recruitment process, from employee requisition up to offering, in the assigned region.
Provide recommendations in relation to C&B functions, training functions & recruitment so as to help achieve organizational target.
Administer the annual salary review process for APAC, excluding Australia.
Support the integration of employees as required by providing appropriate orientation and working closely with hiring managers.
Training needs analysis, sourcing and developing suitable training course or programs.
Cultivate trust and credibility with peers and ensure effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Work with local management to enable a healthy and safe working environment.
Work on ad hoc projects or tasks as required.
Have a sound understanding of, and comply with, the COOK Code of Conduct and Company Compliance requirements.
Degree holder in HRM, BA or other related discipline
With 5-8 years relevant working experience gained from multinational companies.
Regional Human Resources experience is an advantage.
Sound knowledge to local (and other APAC country) employment ordinance.
Analytical, self-initiative, good time management, task and result oriented, with strong problem solving skill.
Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
Organized and flexible, can work independently and work under pressure.
Good interpersonal skills with good team spirit. Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with all levels of staff and team members from other parts of the business.
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
Proficiency in PC applications, especially in Excel.
Hands on experience in HRMS deployment and implementation
