  • Overview

    The Customer Service Representative is responsible for achieving the highest level of Customer Service to both internal and external customers. Striving to achieve goals and objectives set within the department with the emphasis on quality and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    • Customer Service consists of International Customer Service (ICS) servicing customers supplied from Singapore (SADC).
    • Provide customer service to customers, field representatives, Sales Managers and internal department.
    • Ensure customer support is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
    • Ensure a high level of professionalism is met when interacting with both internal and external customers.
    • Processing customer orders (ICS)
    • Process media orders (ICS).
    • Process shipments for international Customers (ICS)
    • Prepare letter of credits for orders (ICS).
    • Answering customer queries (ICS).
    • Process and maintain standing monthly orders (ICS).
    • Chasing up customer orders (ICS).
    • Initiate the process of return goods (ICS).
    • Answering and transferring non-customer related phone calls (ICS).
    • Identify and suggest improvements for Customer Service (ICS).
    • Continually evaluate and develop Customer Service procedures that are required as part of our quality system. Guaranteeing compliance to the quality system while ensuring continued efficiencies are gained but not disadvantaging the customer (ICS).
    • Support implementation of Quality Management System, ensure compliance and maintains effectiveness
    • Other duties may be directed from time to time (ICS).

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration or other related discipline
    • At least 3 years or above working experience in related Customer Service field, preferably from international trading business sector
    • Resourceful and confident candidate who are able to thrive in a fast paced working environment
    • Excellent communication skill and able to work with people from different levels and departments
    • Well organized, with excellent telephone etiquette and strong sense of urgency
    • Able to prioritize and multitask with minimum supervision
    • Able to work independently and meet deadline.
    • Proficiency in PC applications – Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Able to communicate in another language besides English (Japanese speaking) for our overseas customers
