  • Overview

    This position is responsible for maintaining an accurate Accounts Payable Ledger for the processing of invoices and payments of monies to local and overseas suppliers for goods and services received.


    1. Ensure invoices are matched to purchase orders, delivery dockets and other documentation
    2. Liaise with different departments in relation to price and/or quantity discrepancies
    3. Using the Cook Chart of Accounts to ensure that all processing is coded accurately according to the respective expense account
    4. Process creditors invoices and credit notes
    5. Control of Petty Cash Float and authorise reimbursements
    6. Ensure all invoices are paid within credit terms
    7. Oversee the payment to Vendors by cheque, electronic funds transfer on a weekly/fortnightly basis
    8. Preparation of credit application forms for new vendors
    9. Process reimbursement of travel expenses through Concur
    10. Monthly reconciliation of specific General Ledger accounts and accounts payable module
    11. Monthly accruals for outstanding invoices
    12. Analysis of expenses, providing a detailed report to the Financial Controller Asia Pacific
    13. Provide support to the Accounts Receivable Clerk in busy periods and during absence
    14. Reconcile the Accounts Payable Subsidiary Ledger to the general Ledger
    15. Maintain an organised filing system


    1. BA Degree in Accounting or and above
    2. Experience working in an Accounts Payable role essential.  With Navision experience desirable
    3. Reliable, punctual and dependable
    4. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards
    5. Analytical approach to problem solving with innovative thinking
    6. Highly organised with a focus on attention to detail
    7. Approach daily tasks with flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm
    8. Effective interpersonal skills including listening, verbal and written communication skills
    9. Proficient in English in reading, writing and speaking
    10. Able to work effectively in a team environment, and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and functions across the business
    11. Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) essential
