This position is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the Medical Education professional and educational program strategies, in alignment with the Vascular Division's mission, vision and purpose, and overall company priorities. He/she is required to oversee and prioritize activities of Medical Education programs within the Vascular Division, aligning work and priorities with global Functional, Divisional and Operational Unit teams.



  1. Ensure Medical Education programs are efficient, effective, and compliant per local standards in meeting the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders, and communicate those needs to Division leadership.
  2. Work closely with other leaders within the Vascular Division, company Functions, and Operational Units to implement and ensure consistency in program priorities, processes and structure.
  3. Form a structure for Medical Education to allow for global direction and alignment across programs, while accommodating for local specific regulations and language needs.
  4. Develop new, innovative, and relevant programs to support consistent product education with appropriate messaging that meets compliance and regulatory standards.
  5. Consistently collaborate with the Medical Education Team to establish, measure and meet business plan goals each region and program.
  6. Continuously evaluate and improve the strategy for Medical Education Programs by monitoring metrics and listening to feedback from customers and employees. Act and resolve issues and gaps quickly and effectively.
  7. Manage annual activity and budgets of region and team.
  8. Empower managers and team leads to allocate resources appropriately per program and customer needs in alignment with overall programs strategy.
  9. Manage the team, identify and develop current and future leadership team. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to the team to ensure roles and responsibilities, performance expectations, and training requirements are developed, clearly documented, and communicated to each employee.
  10. Ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance, and product-specific requirements are met. Ensure that Cooks Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf.


  1. Bachelor degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience desired.
  2. Extensive experience working in external education training and/or product trainings.
  3. Knowledge on Vascular products is preferred.
  4. Knowlege to local medical education regulations, ethics & compliance requirements, law and other relevant requirements will be a definite advantage.
  5. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team & associated workflow. Prior experience leading organizational change.
  6. With excellent communication and interpersonal skill. Able to work, communicate and interact effectively and professionally with and for others, throughout various levels of the global organization.
  7. Demonstrate strong strategic business skills. Flexible, ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.
  8. Strong language proficiency in written and spoken English.
  9. Strong in PC application.
  10. Willingness and availability to travel according to business needs.  Work after normal working hours and even on weekends is required.
