The Role:

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced regulatory professional to join our Regulatory Affairs team. We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and motivated individual to join a dynamic team where you can establish positive working relationships with your immediate peers and the wider company.


  • Liaise with all departments within Cook Australia and Cook companies worldwide and, as necessary, to collate the information required for regulatory submissions in global markets
  • Provide regulatory support as a project team member on engineering projects
  • Contribute to Cook global teams creating policy for implementation throughout the company
  • Writing device submissions for Global markets for products manufactured in Australia
  • Maintaining design dossiers, technical files and other regulatory documents
  • Provide guidance and supervision to RA specialists regarding preparation of regulatory submissions for global markets
  • Communicate with all SBUs regarding regulatory strategy, status of regulatory submissions and maintenance of priority lists for upcoming product applications
  • Communicate with FDA, TGA, TUV, DNV and Asian regulatory bodies (including Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan)
  • Coordinate with the Regulatory Affairs Manager to propose and execute effective strategy and tactics to obtain marketing approval for Cook Australia products through various regulatory bodies.


To be successful in this role, you will have the following:                  

  • Tertiary qualification in either science, engineering, pharmacy or microbiology desirable
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as medical devices essential
  • Experience preparing regulatory submissions essential
  • Extensive regulatory experience in a design, manufacturing, or consulting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards
  • Analytical approach to problem solving with innovative thinking
  • Highly organized with a focus on attention to detail
